Click Makes Me Sick

Ortiz reportedly feels 'click' in wrist

David Ortiz acknowledged last night that he's already feeling the effect of not having Manny Ramirez to protect him in the lineup (he's 1 for 15 since the Ramirez trade), but that might not be the only reason to worry about Big Papi.
Ortiz told the Boston Herald last night that, in his ninth-inning at bat, he felt a "click" in his left wrist, which was injured (but not surgically repaired, as was erroneously reported in this space earlier today) at the end of May (partially torn sheath).
"My last at-bat, it kind of pulled back a little bit," Ortiz said. "You feel that click and you get a little concerned about it."
A cause for concern, or no big deal? Stay tuned ...
